Halloween

For Halloween this year, all the girls wanted to be witches. We bought costumes for all the girls, then Laney saw the cow costume that both the other girls wore when they were younger. Of course, she changed her mind because she wanted to be "one of Gramma and Papa's cows". Whenever we tried to take her picture, she would bend over so we could see the cow's head. The costume is a little top heavy, so each time she did it she would almost fall over.

We went trick or treating around the neighborhood and got tons of candy (buckets clear full, plus Jacob and I holding some of the bigger things). Then we went home, unloaded the candy, and went to an awesome free carnival. There were tons of games for the kids to play, and they would always win a handful of candy just for playing. They had a couple of bounce houses, a giant inflatable slide, and free cotton candy. Did I mention everything was free? Plus we really didn't have to wait in line very long for any of the games. Needless to say, we scored a lot of candy that night. That's after we had snacked on it all night...
