Christmas Season

Warning---Lots of Pictures! Our Christmas season started out pretty crazy. Makayla got baptized at the beginning of December then right after that we moved to a new house in Wrightwood. This year we tried something new and made gingerbread ornaments. The girls loved it so much. I'm not sure what they liked more-rolling them out and cutting them or painting them.

This year we got to have breakfast with Santa at our church. The kids were supposed to come dressed in their pajamas and had donuts and hot chocolate. The girls also decorated cookies and listened to a fun story told by their Grandma Anderson.

Two weeks after we moved in we had an Anderson Family Christmas party at our house. We had dinner, exchanged presents, and visited all night. The kids especially loved all the fun games Grandma planned just for them.
For Christmas we were going to go to Utah to be with my family but ended up not being able to go, so we had a nice quiet Christmas at our house. We all got some really fun presents. One of the funnest things the girls got were big piggy banks-with several dollars worth of pennies to put in them. I don't know how many times the girls put the pennies in their banks, one at a time, then took the plug out so they could shake out the money then start over again. The girls are at an easy age because they all pretty much like the same things. Also, they love most anything girly, and since there are tons of barbies, pet shops, princess stuff, and girly accessories, they are easy to buy things for. My favorite present: Wii and Wii Fit Plus (for the whole family). Jacob's favorite: Magic Cards. The girls' favorites: piggy banks, barbies, pet shops, well...everything! We are so blessed!
