Laney's 4th Birthday!

During the summer Laney told me she would never be 4 years old.  She was so excited when it was finally her birthday!  Laney really wanted to have a princess party for her friends so we did a friend party and a family party.  She enjoyed every minute of it! 

For the Family party we just invited everyone over for dinner and games.  The boys all decided they were going to play Patonka.  It was fun watching them all line up from the deck.

Laney had so much fun planning her princess party.  Since both Makayla and Kelli have had them before, Laney knew exactly what she wanted.  All the girls came dressed like princesses.  They had a tea party and then played a few games.  It took quite a while, but the girls all made necklaces.  It was funny to watch their faces as they were concentrating so hard.  After more games the girls decorated their own sugar cookies (Laney is not a fan of cake-except the frosting, and she does not like icecream at all-weird, I know).  Laney said it was the best party ever!
