Last week Makayla and Kelli went to stay with my mom and dad for a week. Let's just say, it was really quiet at our house that week! Jac and I enjoyed having lots of time to just play with (and spoil) Laney, but we all sure missed Makayla and Kelli. Of course, they were so busy having fun at gramma and Papa's house they hardly even missed us. On Thursday Laney and I met them halfway in Beaver at the "cheese store"/ "ice cream store" / "cheese curd place"--AKA, the DFA store or cheese factory. Papa bought ice cream for everyone before we went home. I'm sure things are much quieter at my mom and dad's (anyone who knows my girls, knows they are full of questions and just LOVE to talk about anything, everything, nothing...). The girls are still talking about all the fun things they saw, did and discovered in Elsinore. I want to thank my mom and dad for providing my girls with even more questions and topics of conversations..."Mom, why was that mouse trying to eat that poor baby pigeon's skin," "Gramma said milk cows and bulls are made different. How?" "The cows like to stand on top of the poop pile so they can be queens." "Why can't we play in the mud puddle with our boots on?" (For the record, it wasn't just mud, and it wasn't rain that made it that way). The list goes on... Seriously though, the girls had tons of fun and can't wait to visit again. Thanks mom and dad!
