The girls always have fun dressing up for Halloween. Somehow we've ended up with lots of different costumes so the girls like to wear several different ones each year. We usually go to a carnival either at the school or our church then of course we go trick or treating. Sometimes we have parties mixed in with that. The girls are into this "twin/triplet" thing where they all like to be the same as much as possible. If their clothes don't match, then they like to match colors or styles.
For the Ward Carnival the girls were fairies. We figured that was inside so they would stay plenty warm. The Carnival at the church is so neat-lots of fun games, tons of candy, and free! What a great night playing with friends and family.
Trick or Treating is done differently in Wrightwood. You don't go door to door at people's houses looking for candy. Instead, you just hit the main streets in town and the business owners sit outside and hand out the candy. So much better, because you see most people you know and it's not so spread out. It's a huge family thing and tons of people bring their dogs. The girls wanted to bring Shadow, but since they all wanted to be Cowgirls, they decided to bring their cow...
