Kelli's Poor

After many weeks of counting down, it was finally Kelli's birthday. She was so excited to be "poor" as she says it.

Kelli is such a wonderful daughter, sister and friend. One of my favorite things about Kelli is her infectious smile. I know I always say this, but to me it is so true. It's hard to watch Kelli's face light up in a smile and not smile back. She is happy most of the time and is always looking to have fun. Kelli loves to do anything active-in fact, she is always on the go, either running, climbing or jumping. Kelli is also very smart and loves learning things and reading books. Even though she is four, Kelli is still quite tiny. Her younger sister has nearly passed her up in size.

For her birthday she chose to have a princess party. She invited all her friends to dress up like princesses or princes and come over for a tea party and games. What an easy party! The kids ate dinner (Kelli's choice: Pb&j sandwiches, pretzels, string cheese, and apple slices). Then we played two games, opened presents, ate cupcakes, then it was time to go home. Perfect party for 3-5 year olds!

Kelli's favorite gifts she received this year are Littlest Pet Shops (they don't think they could ever have too many), money, and pogo ball thing. Not sure what it's called, jsut a big inflatable ball that she sits on and bounces aaaaalllllllll over the house. I'm pretty sure she could out-bounce everyone in our family!

Happy Birthday Kelli! We hope you had a great day. You are a wonderful girl and we are so glad you are in our family!
