At the end of June we went to Idaho for my Grandpa's funeral. Though the reason for getting together was sad, it was nice to get together with all of my family. I was able to meet my brother in law, Gary, and my nephew, Colt, for the first time. We had a fabulous time staying at their house. Between the horses, the swings, and the "cool fetching" dog (best dog I've ever seen play fetch), the girls were in heaven. We also had time to stop by a really neat ice cream store where they use liquid nitrogen and make your ice cream from scratch in any flavor combination you want in less than five minutes. Dad couldn't wait to introduce us to this ice cream shop. Rick described it perfectly when he said that listening to Dad describe the shop was like listening to a third grader describe recess-very excited and enthusiastic. We all thought it was neat Dad, so thanks for sharing!
The ummm....doggie door was a big hit with all the kids.

I think Kelli had fun riding the horse. I'm not sure. I'm not sure if she's sure. It took a bit to warm up, but then she loved it!

Laney enjoyed riding as long as Daddy was riding with her.

Makayla really didn't enjoy riding all that much. Whatever! I think her words to Debbie were "Thank you! It was a dream come true!"
