In kindergarten, all the kids are supposed to pick a poem (nursery rhyme) to memorize. They practice telling it to their classmates. Then they have a special day where parents come and listen to their poems. Laney decided on "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." She worked so hard on it and had the thing memorized really quickly. In class she always did a fabulous job telling it to her teachers and the other students. Only problem was, Laney was SCARED TO DEATH to get in front of the parents to say it! When she thought about standing in front of everyone, you could just see the anxiety she was feeling. However, once the day came, Laney conquered her fear and jumped right up on the table when it was her turn and did a fabulous job! Way to go Laney!
