This year I decided to try growing a garden for the first time. I'm happy to say that everything is growing great. Well, all except for the peppers I planted-I must have had a bad packet of seeds because not a one came up. Anyway, the girls have been waiting so impatiently for things to grow so we can actually eat them. Kelli got a little too impatient and decided to pick my tomatoes for me a couple of weeks ago. We caught her after she picked 7 but we saved them and put them in the window to ripen (all except the one she took a bite out of). Yay! Look at the first harvest of the season! By the way, I now have several more tomatoes that are just now getting ripe, and they are a little bigger since Kelli decided to let them grow a little more before picking them!
