Laney enjoyed opening her presents, one microscopic piece of paper at a time. Makayla and Kelli were getting impatient because "she wasn't doing it right" and they wanted to be nice big sisters and just help her out a little.
Laney didn't like when we turned the lights out and sang happy birthday with just the candle as light (this picture was actually taken in the dark). 
She sure was excited when she saw her own cake in front of her and she really dug in. She didn't get nearly as dirty as we thought she would though.

The kids and I said several times thoughout the day that it was Laney's birthday but we never got around to calling. So let her know that we were thinking of her and that we hope she had a great birthday!
