Makayla finally moved into her own bedroom and decided she wanted to have a tinkerbell theme. I don't know why, she really doesn't play with tinkerbell stuff that much, but whatever, it's her room! We like to paint murals on the walls of our kids rooms and playroom, as the girls love it and Jacob has very fond memories of doing the same thing as a kid. I just have a few more things to finish up, but I needed a break. Plus, I'm terrible at drawing faces so Jacob said he would finish their mouths for me! Makayla has been so proud of her room since we got things moved in for her. We created a little "reading corner" for her in her closet-it doesn't have doors on it as we took them off a while ago. It's just the perfect place for her to curl up with a book. Above the window it says "All you need is faith and trust and a little bit of pixie dust." She loves having our old changing table as a dresser because it has lots of places to show off all her treasures she's collected over the years. Hopefully before long we can get a regular dresser for her though. Makayla does such a great job of keeping her room clean now. I never have to ask her to clean anything or make her bed. I should have done this a long time ago....
Next up is a "Littlest Pet Shop" room for Kelli and Laney.
