Riding Bikes

One of our favorite things to do is ride bikes.  The problem with Wrightwood:  there are no sidewalks in this town so you have to ride in the road..which can be pretty hilly.  Not so good when you have little kids.  Not only uphill because it's too hard, but downhill because sometimes you get excited and forget where your breaks are.  Our solution is to ride bikes in the church parking lot (there is no other flat, open, smooth place in town).  The church is all fenced in except for one exit and there is no traffic.  There are a few different decorative curbs there to use as obstacles to ride around so it works out perfectly.  It doesn't matter how cold it is, the girls would love to spend hours out there riding around.  Jacob had just gotten his 1963 Honda Dream Motorcycle running again so he wanted to try it out.  The girls liked putting around on it with him.
