Neither Makayla or Kelli ever had a special blanket or stuffed animal or anything when they were little. Not sure how Laney picked this up, but she has a special little baby. It's a baby dressed like a bunny and she absolutely loves this thing! Why she chose a WHITE doll is beyond me. As much as she plays with it, it's amazing it's still white. She doesn't have to have it when she goes to bed, but it's definitely a comfort to her. Her other big comfort is her thumb. Why she sucks on her thumb, I don't know. She's starting to suck on it less, and mostly only does it when she is tired. However, I think she has learned a behavior now because this is what happens, exactly, whenever she gets her baby:
Even if she isn't tired, as soon as you hand the baby to her she puts it by her head and starts sucking her thumb. Right now we're still at the stage where we think it's cute. Doctor's have assured us it's completely ok for her to continue sucking her thumb for a while yet. Once it's time to stop...well, I don't think it will be so cute anymore.
