My Twins

Here's a cute picture of my "twins". Ok, they're not twins, but every time I go somewhere people ask me "Are they twins?", "Is it hard having twins?", or "How can you handle twins?". Then they are shocked when I say that they aren't twins. Sometimes it's just easier to smile and nod and let them go on assuming they are twins then to have to go into detail about how they are 15 months apart to satisfy their curiosity. I've never really gone out of my way to have them dress alike, but lately Makayla and Kelli have realized that people think Kelli and Laney are twins and so they've decided to try to dress alike. Like by wearing these fabulous Elmo shirts we got from Morgan. Kelli is still a little bit bigger than Laney is, but when they are sitting down or standing a little ways apart, people really do a double take. Since Makayla has gone back to school, Kelli and Laney have grown much closer. They just play and play together all day long.
