Easter...continued

I mentioned that for Easter we went to Elsinore to be with the Werry's. I forgot to add what we did after that. We figured we were already so far from home, we might as well go a few hours farther and visit Jacob's sister, Jennifer. The Martin's live in Monticello, Utah. It's kind of a family joke that Jennifer lives out in the middle of nowhere. We've been there a couple of times, but we've always gotten there late at night. Boy were we missing out! The drive over there is spectacular. On the way there and back I think we took a few hundred pictures. We kept seeing mountains or rock formations that were so neat we had to take pictures--so beautiful.
We stayed with the Martins for a few days and had a lot of fun. One day all the boys went paintballing. Jacob hasn't been for a long time, so even though he played with a bunch of young teenagers, he still had fun. The girls were in heaven being among all the pets: birds, cats, dog, ferrots, guinea pigs, etc. They have a lot. Jennifer and Michael showed us around by taking us on a few hikes. Loved it! We went to an arch that was just amazing. It looked pretty big from the ground, but once we hiked up to it and stood in it, it was huge! The girls love exploring everything and its fun to see the world through their eyes. They could spend forever looking for bugs, dinosaur tracks and rocks. We found one hill that made a perfect slide and let the kids all play there. I think they would have stayed all night, but since it was getting dark we figured we should go back to the cars. This last picture was kind of weird. Kelli asked me to take a picture of them while they were running across the flat rocks toward me. Right as I took the picture, Laney fell down, so it looks like she had fallen down and Kelli and Jacob were coming to her rescue.
One night Jacob and I went to Moab with Jennifer and Michael on a double date. We went bowling then stopped for ice cream/dinner. None of us are very good bowlers, but it was still fun!
