The good springtime weather

Yeah! We finally have some nice springtime weather again. Cedar City is funny in the springtime because one day it can be 70 degrees and then snow 6 inches the next. We've learned to always plan on snow at least until Easter (and always on Easter) but usually in late Feb or early March it warms up enough to give us spring fever. We've been dying to get outside. Jacob and I have started getting things going in our yard-raking leaves (again), spraying weeds, mowing the lawn, etc. The girls love being outside of course. Makayla and Kelli spend most of their time either on the swingset (doing a number of monkey-like things) or on the hammock. Laney always goes right for the sandbox and when she gets tired of that she goes for the swingset. We've taken advantage of this great weather by BBQ'ing as much as possible-one of our favorite things to do outside. I especially like it because Jac does the cooking which makes it twice as nice! The girls got a big plastic horseshoe set for Easter and love playing with it. They are pretty good now that we've made the rule they can't chase after their horseshoe until after everyone has thrown theirs...less injuries that way...
