Our favorite beach to go to is Huntington Beach...aka...Honey Beach. It's one of the closest beaches to our house. It's nice, it's clean, and the girls love looking for seashells there. Another big reason we like going there is that it's one of the few beaches around that still has fire pits on the beach. There's nothing like roasting hot dogs and smore's while watching the sun go down over the ocean.
The girls are getting even braver when it comes to the ocean. They all like to boogie board, though they usually only last through a few dunkings before they are ready to get out of the water for a while. They spend a lot of time looking for seashells and digging holes in the and. When we go to the beach we stay the whole day. It's so relaxing to just lie down and listen to the waves crashing.
Jacob is still looking forward to the day he can go out in the deep water and have someone to play with. He loves being in the waves so he can body surf. He would love to learn how to surf, but he doesn't have anyone to teach him or go with him. Sometimes I go out in the deep water with him, but that's just when someone comes with us and is willing to watch the girls for a while.
